Day Off Overtime
Day off overtime is paid to employees on their scheduled day off. This implies that the timecard you are calculating has a reference to the employee’s work schedule. Flow uses both the employee’s assigned and actual work schedule that is set up in the Plan to determine an employee’s day off. To trigger a day off overtime rule we use the expression isScheduledDayOff() in the Day of Week column.
1.5x to all hours worked on a day off
Applying a rate factor of time and a half (1.5x) to all hours when an employee works on their day off, you will want to add a new row in the Timecard Rules > Overtime Rules table.
When complete, the row in the Overtime Rules table should look like this:
1.5x for the day and 2.0x after 12 hours worked in a day
To set up a Day Off Overtime rule with more than one factor, you will want to add the 2nd Limit and 2nd Factor to the row in the Timecard Rules > Overtime Rules table.
