Time Entry Tips
WorkSight FLOW supports multiple variations of time entry. Here are a few tips to ensure that the times entered on a timecard are accepted, interpreted as expected, and logged to the correct calendar day.
When start/end times are adjusted, the units update accordingly. If units are entered or changed with decimals, times update fractionally, showing up to 4 decimal places. Hovering a mouse over a start or end time with decimals displayed shows the actual time in a tooltip.
Time Entry Format
Time can be entered in 12hr format, 24hr format, or fractional format and WorkSight FLOW will automatically convert it to 24-hour format and round it to the nearest 4 decimal place.

Entering Time Past Midnight
If you are trying to express working into the next day – use fractional format and enter the amount of hours past midnight + 24

For example, if an employee worked 4 hours past midnight, enter 28 on their timecard (4+24)
Entering Time Prior to Midnight
If you are trying to express starting work earlier than midnight – use fractional format and enter the amount of hours previous to midnight as a negative number

For example, if an employee came in 3 hours prior to midnight, enter “-3” on their timecard
