What is an Occupation?
The occupation, also commonly referred to as a job classification or job code, typically designates the rate of pay and responsibilities of a job.
Create an Occupation
There are two ways to create an Occupation:

From the Settings Screen: Click your profile photo. In the drop-down menu, select “Settings”. Select the Organization>Occupation option from the sidebar. For more details, please view the Occupations article in the Settings category of the Help Desk Creating and managing Occupations in Settings

From the Job Details Pane: Click in the Occupation field and select Add New Occupation

To create an Occupation from the Job Details pane

In the Job Details, click in the Occupation field

Click the Add New Occupation button

The Add Occupation dialog appears

Enter the Occupation Name

Enter the Code associated with the Occupation in your Organization

Click Save or press Enter
WorkSight closes the dialog and a message will appear in the bottom right corner, confirming that the Occupation was created successfully. -
To close the dialog box without creating a new Occupation, click Cancel or press Esc.
